Admission procedure and Reservation policy

Admissions to these courses will be strictly on the basis of merit. The prevailing reservation policies of the State Government/ Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur will be applicable.

Rules for maintaining discipline in the Institute

All the admitted students shall abide by the rules and regulations at present in force or that may thereafter be enforced for the governance of the Institute.

Terms, attendance and examinations

  • Identity card is issued to every bona -fide student of the Institute of Forensic Science and it is obligatory for every student to possess it when in the premises. Students can avail the facilities of library, gymkhana and railway concession against this card.
  • Each academic year consists of two terms. As per the rules of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, 75% attendance is compulsory for every student in each termfor the appearance of University examinations. Absence in either lectures or practical shall be treated as absence for the whole day. The student will have to produce a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner, in case of non-attendance due to illness. Students having less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
