True copies of the statement of marks and other relevant documents should be attached along with the application form.
The candidates belonging to SBC/VJ/NT-B/C/D and OBC categories should produce " Non-Creamy Layer Certificate " of the current financial year issued by Sub-Divisional officer/ Deputy Collector of the district in addition to the cast certificates. In any case if the candidate fails to produce the " Non-Creamy Layer Certificate " at the time of admission of application form, then such candidates will be treated as 'open category' candidate.
Students belonging to the Universities other than Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur are required to obtain eligibility certificate of this University.
Affix your recent photograph on the application form.
Incomplete forms will not be considered for the admission.
The student will have to produce the Original Documents of the above mentioned certificates as and when required.

Admission procedure and Reservation policy

Admissions to these courses will be strictly on the basis of merit. The prevailing reservation policies of the State Government/ Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur will be applicable.

Rules for maintaining discipline in the Institute

All the admitted students shall abide by the rules and regulations at present in force or that may thereafter be enforced for the governance of the Institute.

Terms, attendance and examinations

  • Identity card is issued to every bona -fide student of the Institute of Forensic Science and it is obligatory for every student to possess it when in the premises. Students can avail the facilities of library, gymkhana and railway concession against this card.
  • Each academic year consists of two terms. As per the rules of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur, 75% attendance is compulsory for every student in each termfor the appearance of University examinations. Absence in either lectures or practical shall be treated as absence for the whole day. The student will have to produce a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner, in case of non-attendance due to illness. Students having less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
